Remote Business Development Manager
Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) for the Southeast Region, ideally located in the greater Charlotte, NC area. This remote position focuses on expanding our client base while ensuring exceptional service for existing accounts. You will work closely with the Regional Manager and our dedicated team to drive sales and enhance client satisfaction across diverse sectors, including healthcare, hospitality, government, and more.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and nurture relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
• Engage in proactive outreach to identify potential business opportunities through sales calls.
• Prepare sales forecasts and deliver compelling proposals to clients.
• Conduct annual business review sessions to evaluate performance and strategies.
• Articulate our unique value propositions and effectively differentiate our services from competitors.
• Uphold and promote our company’s mission, values, and strategic objectives.
• Gain a thorough understanding of building water systems and related infrastructure.
• Collaborate in the design and implementation of comprehensive Water Management Programs.
• Oversee water management consulting services, equipment maintenance, and testing protocols.
• Lead and manage water management team meetings, presenting relevant data to inform decision-making.
Required Skills
• Proficient knowledge of building water systems, cooling towers, boiler systems, energy efficiency metrics, and utility engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Exceptional presentation and training capabilities.
• A proactive and self-driven approach with a positive attitude.
• Commitment to ethical standards and a diverse workplace.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with MS Office, Gmail, Hubspot, and Google applications.
Qualifications
• A bachelor's degree is required; fields of study such as chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, environmental engineering, chemistry, biochemistry, or microbiology are preferred.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience, ideally within water-related facilities or engineering environments, with a focus on customer engagement or sales.
• Successful completion of a 90-day comprehensive training program, including hands-on fieldwork and online learning.
