Capacitor Assembler - 2nd Shift
Eaton’s ESSG CPSD PRD Power Reliability Division division is currently seeking a Capacitor Assembler - 2nd Shift.
The hourly rate for this position is $15.11 per hour with $1/hr shift differential.

What You’ll Do
The Capacitor Assembler must be proficient in the assembly of Packs, Extensions & Section Insulation, Compress & Band, Separate & Crimp; Installation of Lead Wires, Resistor, Assembly Boards & Covers, and Major Insulation. They must be able to work closely with the Group Leader, Job Setter and Production Supervisor to maintain Safety, Production and Quality requirements. Must be flexible in the performing various job functions. In this role, you will build Capacitor products according to the specifications of the customer’s order.

• You will perform machine set ups for various size capacitors
• You will check specifications and necessary drawings for proper assembly
• You will properly operate all machines within department to ensure quality product
• You will train and assist others as needed
• You will stand in for other employees/job functions when necessary
• You will complete 5S+ activities daily.
• You will perform other tasks that are directed by Supervisor or Group Leader.
• You will ensure compliance to Quality procedures: quality alert items, functioning of error proof device(s), deviation of processes
• You will follow all Visual Operating Procedures (VOP) when doing the following jobs:
• Resistor Assembly
• Leadwire Assembly
• Pack Assembly
• Separate & Crimp
• Resistor and Crimp Leadwire Assembly
• Banding of Major Insulation
Qualifications
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Corporate Sponsorship
• Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Greenwood, South Carolina – no relocation will be provided for this role.
Preferred Qualifications
• 1 year manufacturing experience
