Preferred Qualifications Position Summary
The incumbent is responsible for professional work that involves a high-level of judgement and detail and complete administrative oversight and management of Study Abroad and Field Student Academic Review Process, the Experiential Learning Proposal and Approval Process, the Institutional Competencies Proposal and Approval Process, and the Online Curriculum Revisions Tool and Approval Process ( PARC ). These duties involve supervising a team of employees that help provide support to each process. Additionally, the employee provides support to university-wide projects and initiatives and provides editing duties for the UGA Bulletin and Registrar's Office website materials as needed.

• Advanced knowledge and experience with university policies and procedures as they relate to the courses, academic programs, and study away programs, etc.

Oversight and Management of the Experiential Learning Process and Institutional Competencies Proposal and Approval Process:
Oversight, management, and administration of the Experiential Learning submission and approval process :
• Management of the Curriculum and Co-Curricular Approval Process for Experiential Learning Requirements.
• Facilitate the proposal process for curriculum and non-credit activities in the workflow system.
• Coordinate with the Experiential Learning (EL) office and Curriculum Faculty Governance team concerning proposal submission.
• Oversee and review proposals for accuracy and compliance with UGA , USG , and SACSCOC policies and procedures.
• Comprehensive technical support assistance to the faculty and staff using the workflow system, including responding to phone calls and emails, managing access to the system, and delivering training in person and online.
• Provide supervision and guidance to staff who assist with this process.
Oversight, management, and administration of the University Approval Process for University-Wide Requirements and Institutional Competencies:
• Responsible for reviewing and editing proposals for accuracy and compliance with UGA , USG , and SACSCOC policies and procedures.
• Provide support to the faculty and staff using the workflow system, including responding to phone calls and emails, managing access to the system, and delivering training in person and online.
• Supervision and guidance to staff who assist with this process.

• Provide supervision and guidance to staff who assist with the PARC system.

Oversight, Management, and Administration of Study Abroad and Field Study Academic Review Process:
• Disseminating information and communicating with faculty, staff, associate deans, and deans regarding the process.
• Ensuring that proposed study abroad and field study programs adhere to all applicable university, Board of Regents, and SACSCOS policies and procedures.
• Oversight and support of facilitation of the Study Away Subcommittee
• Serve on the Study Away Procedural Committee and Study Away Proposal Committee and other committees with OGE and the Provost's Office.
• Manage the field study and study abroad approval systems and websites as necessary.
• Provide supervision and guidance to staff who assist with this process.
