Preferred Qualifications Position Summary
The Internal Auditing Division seeks an individual with auditing experience with a public accounting firm or internal audit department. The candidate is self motivated and has the ability to supervise others. The position seeks an incumbent with ability to apply advanced auditing skills in analyzing financial data and accounting procedures. Based on the scope of the engagement, the employee should have the ability to develop recommendations that improve accounting systems and controls and enhance operational efficiency.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
• Auditing experience with a public accounting firm or internal audit department.
• The ability to apply advanced auditing skills in analyzing financial data and accounting procedures, and to prepare clear work papers documenting the audit procedures performed.
• Ability to develop recommendations that improve accounting systems and controls and enhance operational efficiency.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate skills in using word processing and spreadsheet computer applications
• Ability to independently complete assignments
