Position Summary
The Student Success Coordinator will work collaboratively with members of the College of Engineering's Office of Student Success to support, coordinate, and deliver recruitment, experiential learning, and student success programming and activities within the College of Engineering.
This position is responsible for all on-campus undergraduate prospective recruiting activities and may be tasked with traveling regionally for off-campus recruiting activities.
This position serves as the first point of contact for undergraduate prospective students and enrolled undergraduate students interested in study-away activities for the College of Engineering.

Recruitment
• Working under the advisement of the Director of Engagement and Recruitment to coordinate, publicize, and host College of Engineering undergraduate prospective student events, such as information sessions and tours for the College of Engineering.
• Working with the Director of Engagement and Recruitment to create a strategy for prospective student recruitment including outreach to high schools in Georgia. The coordinator will host 2-4 high school trips each Fall & Spring term.
• Conducting information sessions (in-person & virtual) about the College of Engineering and effectively answering questions about programs, majors, summer camps, admissions processes, and scholarships. Additionally, the coordinator will meet individually with prospective students upon request.
• Attending recruiting events on behalf of the College of Engineering including partnership events with the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and the Office of Inclusive Excellence.
• Updating recruiting materials, presentations, and information on the college website related to undergraduate prospective student recruitment. Assisting with creating reports on visit information and prospective student recruitment, yield, and enrollment of undergraduate College of Engineering students.

Global Engagement and Experiential Learning
• Working under the advisement of the Director of Experiential Programs and Student Success Assessment to coordinate and oversee study away programs for the College of Engineering.
• Serving as the main point of contact and OSS liaison for the Office of Global Engagement and engineering international program faculty.
• Guiding students on study abroad programs, facilitating applications, informing students of timelines, and providing or attending information sessions and fairs related to study abroad programs. This includes offering appointment hours for all undergraduate College of Engineering students.
• Updating materials associated with study away programs including marketing materials, presentations, and website information.
