SUMMARY: Your impact as an Associate Broker will be directly tied to you meeting the following expectations: Being responsive. Being proactive. Efficiently manage tasks assigned to you to ensure that that are completed on or before the deadline. Assist brokers with the servicing of clients throughout the full insurance brokerage deal flow process. Building product knowledge and handling smaller placements with support from senior team members. Engaging senior team members for assistance and growth opportunities in a prudent manner. Being knowledgeable in ProEx policies, procedures and documentation. Being a part of the data and analytics process as we evaluate and grow the Practice. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Build meaningful collaborative relationships with internal and external clients, teams, underwriters and leadership. Contribute to and support strong sales culture. Knowledge and career development through internal outreach, external courses and independent research. Responsibility for all aspects of client services for your team’s assigned book of business as well as new business opportunities including: Saving all quotes, binders, declinations, sample wording, policies and other related material in the designated location utilizing naming conventions determined by the team; Compile Renewal Strategy presentations inclusive of prior year’s renewal highlights, program overview, benchmarking, data and analytics, current market update, timeline ensuring accuracy and relevance to client or prospect; Diligently check quotes, binders, policies and seek corrections as needed; Compile Renewal Proposal documents inclusive of renewal highlights, expiring program, renewal program, program changes, coverage enhancements; Secure and review policies within 30-days of binding. Provide status updates and continuous support to the team. Establish an understanding of the submission process. Understand the causes of broker Errors & Omissions and adopt practices to avoid exposure; escalate any concerns to senior team members immediately.
