Wickenburg Veterinary Clinic is searching for an experienced Hospital Manager to join our small animal practice. A veterinary hospital manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the practice. Their responsibilities include managing the hospital’s staff, scheduling shifts, and ensuring proper training and team development. They handle administrative duties like payroll, budgeting, and inventory management, ensuring the hospital runs efficiently and within budget. The hospital manager also addresses client concerns, ensures high-quality customer service, and helps maintain a positive workplace environment. Additionally, they work closely with veterinarians to ensure smooth workflows, implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and uphold compliance with industry regulations. Their goal is to create a well-organized, efficient, and supportive environment for both staff and clients. This is a full-time role comprised of 5-8s. Required qualifications and skillset: 5+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting Financial acumen and experience managing budgets such as revenue and payroll Experience managing the development and growth of teams Demonstrates emotional intelligence and strong conflict management skills Experience with Microsoft suite and various practice management systems (Covetrus Pulse preferred) Self-directed and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team As Hospital Manager, you will partner with our Medical Director, collaborate with our doctors, and guide our support staff.
