RN Job Duties: Oversee MAR sheets. Order/reorder meds when needed. Recording details and symptoms of the resident’s medical history and current health. Collaborate with supervisor, case manager, and staff about residents’ medical needs. Oversee the distribution of medications and treatments, then monitor patients for side effects and reactions. RN will oversee staff completing med error reports as needed. Creating, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans with the treatment team. Performing wound care, such as cleaning and bandaging them. If RN is not on campus, RN will walk the staff through the proper procedure or direct the staff to transport the resident to ER. Operating and monitoring medical equipment. Educating residents, family members, and staff on treatment and care plans, as well as answering their questions. RN will ensure that patient care is conducted according to the policies and standards of QRTP, OIG, CARF, and any other state regulations. Other duties as needed.
