Key responsibilities: Ensure availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems. Define and deploy metrics, logging, and monitoring systems on the AWS platform. Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless product delivery. Monitor system performance and proactively resolve potential security risks. Automate routine infrastructure management and configuration tasks to minimize human error and enhance efficiency. Troubleshoot issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and continuous availability. Recommend architectural and process improvements to optimize AWS operations. Participate in post-incident reviews, engaging with stakeholders to identify root causes and areas for improvement. Our ideal candidate: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 3 years of experience managing and supporting a large enterprise cloud or data center environment. Experience developing modern data pipelines using AWS technologies. Experience developing data solutions with monitoring/alerting and using cloud-based observability tools. Knowledge of real-time payment networks. Knowledge of and following security/infrastructure best practices. Proficiency in Jira and Confluence. Experience with MySQL and Javascript is a plus.
