Director Job Title: Assistant Director Reports To: center Director Position Summary: The Assistant Director oversees the daily operations of the center, ensuring that all activities run smoothly, especially during opening hours. This role involves coordinating with staff, managing daily tasks, and addressing any issues that arise. Key Responsibilities: ● Oversee daily center operations, including staff scheduling, guest intake, and service delivery. ● Ensure that the center is ready for guests each day, with all necessary supplies and resources available. ● Assist with the opening of the center each night, ensuring all procedures are followed. ● Address any operational issues that arise and coordinate with other staff to resolve them. ● Supervise and support overnight staff, case managers, and the facility manager. ● Report on center operations and outcomes to the board or executive director. Qualifications: ● Experience in a leadership role within a center or social service organization. ● Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. ● Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ● Knowledge of center operations and service delivery best practices. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $1,000.00 per month Expected hours: No more than 15 per week Schedule: Evening shift Holidays Monday to Friday Weekends as needed License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Ability to Commute: Martinsville, VA 24112 (Required) Work Location: In person
