North Central Utility (NCU) is looking for a self-motivated and results driven Entry Level Parts Person to represent and grow with NCU in the heavy-duty truck & trailer parts industry. North Central Utility is one of the largest semi-trailer dealerships in the nation and the largest in the North Central region with 10 locations throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota and North Dakota. We offer reefer, dry van and flatbed trailers from Utility Trailer Manufacturing at all locations and vocational trailers from MAC Trailers in Wisconsin - we sell new and used semi-trailers. With Moore Space, we offer temporary storage container solutions as well. Our parts department has an extensive inventory in Heavy-Duty Truck/Tractor and Trailer parts. Our broad product line and geographic coverage ensures we are a “One Stop Shop” for truck and semi-trailer parts. Our service department offers everything from routine maintenance, certified DOT inspections to precision laser alignment, as well as complete wreck repair for trailers of all makes and models. No job is too big or too small for our skilled service technicians. This position is a safety sensitive position, requiring pre-employment and post-accident drug testing. What we bring to the table: Competitive salary + bonus potential Regular schedules - no nights or weekends Medical, dental & vision benefits 401k & profit sharing Training, support, and ongoing career development with opportunities for growth Great people to work with What you bring to the table: Ability to work independently High degree of integrity and a strong work ethic Strong interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written skills Strong attention to detail Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills Positive attitude Flexibility and ability to adapt with a professional demeanor High energy Job Duties and Responsibilities: Shipping and receiving of parts orders Receive incoming orders, verifying correct items and counts are received, noting any damage, quantity variations, or incorrect items received Assure all items are labeled and located correctly Post received items into our computer inventory system, updating location changes as needed Packaging and processing of outgoing orders Ensure parts are pulled, packaged, and ready for daily delivery Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles Oversee organization of the parts area Keeping Parts room clean and organized Keeping shelves stocked Assure forklift maintenance is scheduled as needed Perform perpetual inventory counts Manage all shipping supplies Assist answering phone calls Assist with front and back counter operation as needed Assist order processing as needed Build relationships with customers Maintain dirty cores inventory Assist with parts deliveries as needed Assist with warranty administration as needed Assist with EOY Inventory Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Driver’s License in good standing Computer skills Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to the ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, twist, reach overhead, stoop, squat repetitively and for long periods of time Ability to repetitively push/pull and/or lift/carry at least 50 pounds Driving Requirements: Driving is a duty of this job Driver's License (Required) Benefits: 401(k) matching & profit sharing FSA Health insurance (Medical, Dental, and Vision) Paid Time Off Paid holidays Training and professional development opportunities Job Type: Full or Part time Schedule: Day shift Monday - Friday (no weekends) Supervisory Responsibilities: No Pay: Based on experience, $16 - $20 per hour plus bonuses, overtime (1.5) on hours over 40 worked in a work week
