Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Equipment Operator/Laborer to assist in the production process, primarily under the guidance of the Production Manager. The Equipment Operator/Laborer will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of machinery, the movement and organization of materials, and the maintenance of a clean and safe work environment. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced industrial setting. Key Responsibilities: Equipment Operation: Safely operate palletizing and other equipment to move, load, and stack boulders for production and shipping. Perform routine inspections of equipment to identify any issues and report concerns to the Production Manager. Assist in basic troubleshooting and maintenance tasks under the supervision of the Production Manager. Material Handling & Quality Control: Move, sort, and position boulders and other materials in accordance with production requirements. Ensure all boulders and materials meet company quality standards before palletizing. Assist in tracking inventory and maintaining accurate logs of materials used in production. Workplace Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures, wearing protective equipment as required. Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas, ensuring that all equipment and tools are stored properly. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to the Production Manager. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Production Manager and other team members to meet daily production goals. Assist with general labor tasks as required to keep production running efficiently and smoothly. Participate in on-the-job training to continually improve skills and knowledge of equipment operation and safety standards. Qualifications: Previous experience in equipment operation or as a laborer in an industrial setting is preferred. Basic understanding of machinery operation and maintenance is a plus. Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Physical ability to lift, move, and handle heavy materials (50+ lbs) regularly. Physical Requirements: Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting, bending, standing for long periods, and operating machinery.
