Responsibilities: - Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies - Follow recipes and measurements accurately to ensure consistent quality - Operate and maintain baking equipment and tools - Monitor oven temperatures and adjust as necessary - Decorate and present baked goods in an appealing manner - Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate baking schedules - Assist with inventory management and ordering of baking supplies Skills: - Strong cooking skills with experience in a catering or restaurant setting - Proficient in food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation -Knowledge in gluten free, and vegan baking - Excellent customer service skills to interact with customers and take special orders - Knowledge of baking techniques, including mixing, proofing, shaping, and baking - Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety regulations - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Knife skills for cutting ingredients and decorating baked goods If you are passionate about baking and have the skills mentioned above, we would love to hear from you!
