Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with an engaging first impression of the restaurant. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Answer phone calls with professionalism, assisting with inquiries about reservations, menu items, and special events. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area to create a welcoming atmosphere. Assist guests with any special requests or needs, ensuring their experience is enjoyable and memorable. Collaborate with team members to enhance overall guest services and support restaurant operations. Experience Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is advantageous for managing orders and processing payments. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members alike. A background in hotel or food service industries can be beneficial for understanding guest needs in a dining setting.
