Specializing in a full range of custom manufacturing products including metal fabrication and turnkey electro-mechanical assembly, we produce products for a host of customers across a diverse array of industries Skill Requirements: Experience and complete understanding of device signals that PLC and Telemetry devices gather and control (i.e., analog, discrete, rs232, rs485, Modbus, and TCP/IP) Experience and complete understanding of alternating current, direct current, resistance, and Ohm’s Law. Experience applying and an intermediate understanding of the National Electric Code. Understanding to include but not limited to conduit fill calculations and limits, grounding, classified and non-classified equipment and areas, burial conduit size, run limits, and bending. Advanced computer experience and knowledge regarding the Windows operating system, office-related software, online SharePoint and drives, advanced networking skills to manipulate network devices like routers, switches, modems, satellites, and terminal servers, use of VPNs, networking data collector software (e.g., Wireshark, AngryIP, PUTTY, etc.), SCADA software, telemetry, and PLC programming software, etc. Experience and complete understanding of wiring schematics, symbols, layouts, power supply, breakers, terminal types, wire labeling equipment, and the ability to translate schematics to end products. Advanced experience and understanding of testing electrical circuits with voltmeters, 4-20mA signal generators, and ammeters. Ability to work outside in all conditions while using hand-held tools to modify conduit, Uni-strut, concrete, grounding, and wiring. Job requirements: Clean driving record, outstanding driving skills, and respect for company and customer property. Willingness to work out of town during the week with potential weekend stays during more extensive projects. Work after hours to upload documentation and photos. Willingness to be on a salary-based pay. Training on OHSA, Operator Qualifications, HR, and MSHA courses. Having an excellent work ethic cannot be stated enough. Ability to troubleshoot and communicate over the phone to customers, set up schedules, 811 dig tickets, etc. Willingness to help other departments during downtimes between travel jobs. Needs to have the desire to work no matter what you may get involved in. Willingness to work in other industries AMR field service maintains other than the Gas industry. (e.g., Coal, hard rock) and other AMR departments (e.g., Water/wastewater and fish farming). Desired Experience Experience working with measurement and regulations in the gas industry. Experience in the mining industry with gas, communications, and tracking systems. Experience in the industrial construction industry related to excavation, conduit installation, and wiring. Advanced knowledge of metal construction hardware (e.g., metric and standard hardware, conduit and conduit bodies, mechanical and grounding lugs, seal-offs, couplers, strut-straps, spring nuts, L-brackets, all-thread, and conduit plugs, etc.) Knowledge related to electrical, networking, and plumbing hand tools.
