Exciting Career Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical-Surgical Unit
Location: Salina, KS
Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Shift: Night (3x12-hour shifts per week)
Salary Range: $29.00/hour - $43.00/hour (Based on education and experience)
Shift/Weekend Differential: $2.00/hour
Relocation Allowance: Up to $5,000 (to be discussed further during the interview)
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) team at our healthcare facility in Salina, KS. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team during the night shift. This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive salary, shift differentials, and a relocation allowance.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care in the Medical-Surgical unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and safe care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on patient needs.
• Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and document patient care activities accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Participate in continuous education and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
• Licensure: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas.
• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Experience: Previous experience in a Medical-Surgical unit is preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work efficiently during night shifts.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
