With over 1,000 employees in the Americas, we are moving forward with technology to solve our customers’ electrical power needs for both prime and backup generation needs as the industry’s leading manufacturer.Job DescriptionThe Parts Sales Coordinator position is responsible for direct interaction with external customers: key accounts, open market customers, LS Factory, LS Offices; as well as internal customers: Service, Reman, Warranty, and Sales.  Part identification, internal part pricing updates, quotations, parts order entry, customer entry, amongst other daily activities are required to ensure accuracy, profitability, and timely responses internally and externally.  With majority of concentration involving aftermarket, this position is engaged with most every aspect of our business: Purchasing, Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Engineering, Finance and Logistics to ensure communication of customer expectations regarding products as well as on-time delivery.  Parts Sales Coordinators must be highly organized to handle workload and satisfy customer’s needs.Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Proactively manage the order process for key accounts from order entry to shipment of unitsEnter new orders into ERP system from customer purchase orders or portalsCommunicate lead times, delivery dates, and demand for parts and assemblies from both EPG-A and EPG-E manufacturing facilitiesCommunicate directly with external customers to provide delivery dates, order acknowledgements, updates, and shipping information.Serve as the voice of the customer to various departments within the sales order process (i.e., engineering, quality, operations, etc.)Participate in key customer meetings to provide updatesMaintain and organize customer order files including export control documentation per company requirements (ARAS / MKDenial / Exports)Communicate on a regular basis status, updates, changes, issues or delays directly with the customerReview forecast of future demand from key customer files.Serve as the direct point of contact between the company and customersDirecting information and updates to the appropriate individuals within the organizationAnswer customer inquiries and provide regular updates on status of orders – provided from various individuals internallyExperience/Skills:Customer support experience or experience as a customer service representativeCustomer based orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of charactersExcellent communication skills (Active listening, phone skills, email)Ability to prioritize, attention to detail, and manage time effectivelyAbility to proactively solve problems that arise through the sales order processAbility to analyze order information and relay to individuals at different levels within the organizationProficiency with computers, Microsoft Office skills: Teams, Excel, Word, etc.  In addition to working knowledge of ERP / MRP systemsMust be a US citizen for positions at the North Mankato facility.Education:Associate’s or bachelor’s degree; or equivalent work experienceAdditional Job DetailsEqual Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action at NidecNidec is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action Employer encouraging diversity in the workplace.
