We are seeking an enthusiastic server to oversee, enhance and ensure a pleasant dining experience for our guests. The server will maintain a positive and respectful relationship with team members, engage with guests in a professional, dignified manner, and inform management of potential service and product issues before they arise. You will perform opening duties to prepare for service and closing duties at the end of your shift. To ensure success you will value our guests as if they were guests in your home and take pride in your work. Top candidates will be sincere, hospitable and hard-working. Performing opening duties such as setting tables, polishing glasses, folding napkins and replenishing condiments Ability to carry plates of food on trays or three plates in synchronized service. Attend pre-shift meetings to update knowledge of special orders, and stock related issues, and to discuss service and product matters. Introducing yourself and engaging with your guests. Checking on guests to establish satisfaction with product and overall experience and providing management with feedback. Performing closing duties such as sweeping and vacuuming and preparing linens for collection by laundry service. Requirements Previous serving experience in banquet setting minimum 2 yrs. Excellent verbal communication/presentation skills. Multiple languages a plus. Commitment to excellence and high standards. Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills. Adherence to a uniform policy and grooming standards – must present a neat, professional appearance. Must have reliable transportation. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, holidays, and special events. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds The ability to stand and walk up to 10 hours per day Able to exert fast-paced mobility for periods up to 8 hours in length. Must be able to bend, squat, climb, push, stoop and crouch repeatedly.
