Mgr Public Safety-PEM
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Manages assigned personnel and coordinates the activity of assigned personnel in order to provide effective security services to PHC. Enforces all PHC regulations, and applicable state and federal laws.
Advocates crime prevention and a secure work environment through observation, interaction, and intervention. May perform other duties as required by the Director.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School Diploma
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Five (5) years general security, military or other public safety experience with three (3) years� experience in supervision/leadership roles required.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
� BS/ BA in healthcare management/ business administration, criminal justice, or other related fields preferred
� Certified Healthcare Security Supervisor (IAHSS) preferred
� Active Georgia Peace Officer Standards & Training (P.O.S.T.) certification preferred
� Carry less lethal weapons such as a Taser CEW and/or an expandable baton required
� May be required to carry company approved firearm
