Position Summary: The Executive Director of Ancillary Services is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational oversight, and overall management of the organization’s ancillary services including laboratory services, radiology, therapy services, and pharmacy services. This role ensures the effective delivery of high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications: Education: Master’s degree in healthcare related field or above Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in ancillary care or related healthcare setting. Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams Background study and pre-employment drug testing also required. Tasks & Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans for ancillary services that align with the organization’s mission and goals. Drive initiatives to enhance patient care quality, operational efficiency, and service integration across clinics, labs, radiology, therapy, and pharmacy. Collaborate with senior leadership to set long-term goals, financial targets, and performance metrics for ancillary services. Operational Oversight: Oversee the day-to-day operations of all ancillary services, ensuring that they are delivered efficiently, effectively, and in accordance with best practices. Monitor and improve operational processes to enhance patient experience, reduce costs, and increase productivity. Implement and maintain systems for tracking and analyzing performance metrics and patient outcomes. Clinical and Administrative Management: Manage and support the clinical and administrative staff within ancillary services, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and professional development. Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies. Oversee budgeting and financial management for ancillary services, including cost control, revenue generation, and financial reporting. Quality Assurance and Improvement: Develop and implement quality assurance programs and improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and patient safety. Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and identify areas for improvement. Facilitate a culture of continuous improvement and evidence-based practice. Patient and Community Relations: Foster positive relationships with patients, families, and the community to enhance satisfaction and address any concerns or issues. Represent the organization in community outreach and engagement efforts related to ancillary services. Coordination and Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments and services within the organization to ensure seamless patient care and effective service delivery. Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to enhance service offerings and achieve strategic objectives. Innovation and Technology: Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in ancillary care. Evaluate and implement new technologies and innovative solutions to improve service delivery and patient outcomes. Schedule: Full Time, 1.0 FTE Schedule Details: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm, 40 hours weekly.
