POSITION SUMMARY Position Summary: The Director, Total Rewards develops, implements, administers, and maintains benefits and compensation programs, policies, and procedures. Ensures programs meet employee needs, comply with legal requirements, and are cost effective. The Director, Total Rewards develops compensation and benefits communications and collaborates with employees on compensation and benefits related issues. Evaluates existing compensation and benefits programs against other industry organizations to determine competitiveness, trends and developments. Manages benefits team in the day-to-day performance of their job. Ensures that project/department milestones and goals are met and adheres to approved financial plans. The Director, Total Rewards oversees the annual compensation review and benefit open enrollment process including management of the electronic enrollment platform, approving dependent eligibility, reviewing eligibility under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), communication of any changes in current benefits as well as new/enhanced benefits, and ensuring corresponding payroll deductions are processed. The Director, Total Rewards serves as a key resource for advising employees and leaders on compensation and benefit concerns, and acts as a liaison with compensation and benefit vendors. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field Minimum Experience Two years experience working with employee benefit programs Healthcare human resource experience preferred Required Registration/License/Certification PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-CSP, or related certification strongly preferred Location: Salina Regional Health Center ยท Human Resources Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift, M- F 8-5pm
