Job Summary
The Measurement Engineer is a pivotal role responsible for maintaining the integrity of our technical database, overseeing the replacement of outdated measurement equipment, and ensuring accurate and compliant measurement systems.  The role blends project management, technical expertise, and a focus on data accuracy driving efficiency, innovation, and operational excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Expansion of the GeoSCADA technical application and associated programs with in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge.
• Leads Projects to removed oversized and outdated measurement equipment while monitoring and controlling costs.
• New Technology Lead.
• Works with the Measurement team and acts as a resource for colleagues.
• Solves complex problems while working independently.
• Other Duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Knowledge of UGI’s policies and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively both written & verbal.
• Knowledge of UGI and related software systems including but limited to MapFrame, Design Manager, GeoSCADA, and AutoSol.
• Proficiency w/ PC related applications including applications including word processing, spreadsheets, & data base accessing and utilization.
• Demonstrate ability to multitask to attain short term and long-term goals within Measurement.
• Intimate working knowledge of SQL, Eagle, and Honeywell Protocols.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred – Engineering / Engineering-Technology or related field.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Natural Gas Industry or related field working with Geo/ClearSCADA system protocols.
Must possess a valid Driver's License.
