Job Summary:
This position is hybrid with 3 days a week in the office in Wyomissing, PA.
The Manager of Financial Planning is a business partner who has a strong understanding of one or several Company business segments and presents risks, opportunities and recommendations to senior leaders.  The manager plays a leadership role in the Company’s financial resource planning and in analysis of actual results against the plan. This role will have primary responsibility for oversight of the one or several company business segments’ forecast and budget inclusive of margin, operating expenses, capital expenditures and communicating variance drivers to Company leadership to support business decisions. This position will identify and execute on strategic opportunities for continued efficiencies within the Finance organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage the weekly, monthly, and annual Income Statement forecast process for the business segments or activities responsible for. Ability to drive continuous improvement in the financial planning and forecasting process which includes Hyperion enhancements, process improvements, standardization and simplification.
• Responsible for managing the annual budget process for given Company business segment(s) including as applicable margin, field expenses, overhead costs and capital expenditures. Requires strong cross-functional skills with various departments, business leaders and Corporate FP&A resources.
• Designs and drives detailed financial analysis and provide key financial information and analysis in support of executive management decision making and strategy.
• For segments and activities, the Manager of FP&A is responsible for, prepares the capital forecast, materials for the Corporate Capital Committee and provide support in reviewing financial models developed by Business Development, as applicable.
• Leads improvement in the company’s business analytics measurements, reports and utilization of data to better understand Company results and make recommendations for business improvement.
• Independent and autonomous business partner with responsibility to manage, coach and develop Senior Financial Analysts.
• In partnership with Sr. Manager, FP&A, oversee, manage and direct day to day activities for Senior and Senior Analysts on FP&A team.  Provide ongoing and real time guidance, coaching, support, training, and mentoring to meet business objectives and deliverables.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Strong financial analysis, reporting and planning knowledge, strong modeling skills, and associated advanced excel skills
• Proven ability to plan, organize and prioritize own workload, and to manage the workload of others to ensure deadlines are met
• Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy of work.
• Solid understanding of financial statements and the interaction between the P&L, B/S and cash flow.
Education:
• BS in Finance or related field
• At least 7-10 years of experience in Financial Planning positions of increasing responsibility
• MBA, CPA, or CFA
• Knowledge of Hyperion Planning/PBCS, experience with Smartview, Advanced Excel skills, and good knowledge of Alteryx (a plus)
