Zoning Officer
Upper Macungie Township
Lehigh County, PA
(Full Time, Permanent Opportunity)
Upper Macungie Township, Lehigh County, PA is seeking an organized, motivated individual to serve as Zoning Officer.
The candidate should possess strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, and be computer proficient.
The position is responsible for interpreting and enforcing township zoning ordinances and provides administrative support to the Zoning Hearing Board.
The successful candidate must submit to a background check and pre-employment screening and will be required to attend evening meetings.
This position is full-time exempt.

Experience and Skills:
The ideal candidate will have five (5) or more years of progressive experience in Zoning
Must have obtained their Certified Zoning Officer credential or have the ability to obtain certification within one year of date of hire
Possesses knowledge of standard surveying practices, property maintenance, construction, and land development, and any other relevant federal/state laws and guidelines.
Benefits
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience.
Salary range: $80K - $90K per year with excellent benefits.
