PROFILE OF CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate will have more than five years of experience in marketing, retail experience with preference for feed/farm dealer backgrounds and a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in business, marketing, or a related field. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential as well as proven leadership, collaboration, and organizational skills. The candidate should inspire confidence and trust in all stakeholders internally and externally. Key Responsibilities :
Alltech has an immediate need to hire a strategic leader with strong communication skills to lead Alltech’s Feed Dealership and Retail marketing efforts. This person will be tasked with growing the success of our dealer/retail network in the feed business unit, which covers the entire U.S. market with a dealer and distributor business in all major species. As a strategic partner to our feed commercial leadership and dealers/retailers, this individual will be responsible for the development and implementation of retail and dealer marketing strategies for Hubbard Feeds (Ridley), as well as promoting our portfolio of products and services through multiple channels.
Strategic Partnership: The Feed Retail and Dealer Marketing Lead will serve as a key leadership partner to business unit leadership across functions and to the head of marketing, feed and premix, and senior marketing team.
• Represent the business unit at a global/corporate level in retail strategy development.
• Responsible for dealer training, in-store displays, point of sale marketing and Promoboxx campaigns.
• Responsible for the retail/dealer marketing strategy and budget within the business unit to build brand awareness, achieve sales growth and optimize the customer experience while ensuring strong ROI for the business.
• Execute key marketing initiatives and programs with dealerships, generating engagement and activation.
Collaborative Project Leadership: Direct business unit-wide initiatives from conception to completion, ensuring they meet deadlines, budget, and scope while maintaining the highest standards of creativity and brand alignment.
• Business unit-wide initiatives include responsibility for the localization of corporate initiatives.
• Activate campaigns at the dealer level.
• Collaborate with account managers and dealers to grow our business, and theirs.
• Understand opportunities and challenges within our dealer network to ensure that all our support, from packaging to marketing and promotions, is fit for its purpose.
• Lead strategy, collaboration, and projects for business unit-wide positioning, including digital footprint, tradeshows, association involvement, etc. in partnership with species and business unit teams as relevant.
• Lead marketing strategies to support key accounts and business development within the business unit, coordinating support with other business units, business unit teams, species teams and corporate teams.
• Support Data & Insights collection and marketing strategy alignment to the market segment insights.
Competitor & Market Analyses: Maintain a pulse on competitor and market trends within feed retail, regularly reporting and recommending opportunities to keep our brand relevant to dealers, customers and at the forefront of innovation.
· Contribute to quarterly Data & Insights collection and on an ad hoc basis as appropriate.
Collaboration & Communication: Foster a culture of collaboration with all internal stakeholders.
· Develop strong working relationships with other functional areas within the business unit and with the global marketing and technology teams.
· Serve as a connector between the business unit and corporate/global teams, bringing the voice of the customer back into the business and ensuring we are locally focused yet globally connected.
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience in marketing, animal industry or agriculture-related field
· Retail experience with preference for feed/farm dealer backgrounds
· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing and/or a related field
· Excellent interpersonal and diplomacy skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
· High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
· Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing circumstances; prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to work effectively with all company levels from executives and senior management to outside partners and support team.
· Ability to lead through influence and serve as a role model of our culture, values, and professional expectations.

· Experience in preparing, monitoring, and managing budgets and event marketing.

Job Environment:
• Full time, in-office or from home depending on location.
• Standard working hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
· Ability to travel domestically (approximate travel: 50% travel to events/trade shows/customers/sales support)
