Machine Operator Opportunity in Ridgeway, VA
Job Summary
We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Machine Operators to join our growing operation. In this role, you will work operating machinery, verifying equipment set-up prior to start of production run, verifying order information, and producing parts to specifications. Prior experience in manufacturing/industrial environment preferred but we are willing to train.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Operates and shuts down manufacturing equipment
• Verify equipment set-up prior to start of a production run
• Verifies order information and products parts with the correct material, density, weight, size and/or shape within tolerance to meet specific job requirements while meeting productivity standards
• Bundles, wraps, stacks, packs, assembles and/or labels material per specific production instructions
Requirements and Qualifications
• Prior experience in manufacturing/industrial environment preferred
• General understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures
• Must be fluent in the English language, both written and oral
• Able to work on your feet for 8-hour shifts and lift 30 lbs. regularly
• Good communication skills
• High school diploma/GED preferred
• Submit to Drug Screen and Background Search
