Our client is currently seeking an E l ectrical Designer.
Summary :
The Electrical Designer will assist in the design and drafting of various commercial projects.
Job Duties :
• Design and develop drawings for building’s lighting, power and electrical distribution systems.
• Perform lighting and power engineering calculations.
• Design to applicable standards and codes.
• Evaluate, select and specify appropriate electrical equipment/systems.
• Coordination with clients, contractors and other disciplines.
• Evaluate, select and specify appropriate electrical equipment / systems.
• Effectively build and maintain relationships with clients, owners, contractors and all team members.
• Maintain a positive and professional work environment.
Requirements :
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and MS Office
• Working knowledge of the NEC, IBC, IECC, NFPA, IESNA and other appropriate codes and standards
• Ability to identify and correctly respond to project needs
• Adhere to project schedules, budgets and scope of work
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Effectively work with clients, owners, contractors, and all team members
• Maintain a positive and professional work environment
Pay Range :
• $60 – 90K, depending on experience
