Description POSITION SUMMARY: Schwickert's, a leader in MEP, Roofing, Architectural, and specialty services, is seeking an experienced Electrical Service Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will oversee a small team of electricians while ensuring top-notch service delivery, managing and selling service-related electrical work (negotiated, not bid spec work) to both existing and new clients, and making sure all work complies with safety standards and state regulations. The Electrical Service Manager will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our Electrical Services division. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage day-to-day operations of the Electrical Service team, including scheduling, project oversight, and quality control. Sell and negotiate electrical service work (not bid spec) with a focus on providing value and building long-term relationships. Help develop and train young talent in both low voltage and high voltage service work. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive approach to customer service. Oversee and execute electrical service-related projects from inception to completion. Develop and implement strategies to expand service offerings and client base. Contribute to the overall growth strategy of Schwickert's by identifying new business opportunities. Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards. Provide ongoing training and mentorship to team members. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution. JOB SPECIFICATION: Education/Experience: Journeyman or higher electrical license in Minnesota, preferred but not required if skillsets align. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Extensive service-oriented background in both low and high voltage electrical work. Proven experience in sales and business development, particularly in selling negotiated service-related electrical work. Management experience with a track record of mentoring and leading small teams. Ability to foster relationships with clients, ensuring trust and satisfaction. A self-driven, growth-minded individual with a passion for service excellence. Other critical skills include planning & organizing; problem identification/resolution, multi-tasking, follow-through skills to bring tasks to closure in a timely manner, priority setting, and having a sense of urgency in accomplishing tasks in a timely manner.
