Shipping/Loader We are looking for a Shipping/Loader Associate who will report directly to the shipping Supervisor. As part of your role, you’ll be on a team where we are creating new ways to get people moving forward, where their experiences are measured by emotion rather than distance. YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: Signal or verbally direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety of workers and materials. Select gear such as cables, pulleys, and winches according to load weights and sizes, facility, and work schedules. Align, level, and anchor machinery. Dismantle and store rigging equipment after use. Verify boat load numbers to ensure placement accuracy based on written or verbal instruction. Operate loading and unloading equipment, hoists, and other specialized material handling equipment. Align, fit, and assemble components of boat trailers. Manually or mechanically load and unload boat trailers. YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES: Required: Regular and reliable attendance. Ability to stand, kneel, crawl and work for several hours in various positions either on a concrete floor or within a boat. Ability to manually move product and materials through regular physical exertion, including but not limited to lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and bending. Must work at a reasonable pace and within our quality and production standards to ensure completion of tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Production standards include overtime to meet customer needs. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Preferred: Knowledge and previous use of basic hand and power tools. Manufacturing, production, machinist, or assembly experience. Demonstrated dependability in previous employment.
