Visit our website and virtual showroom at www.burtonandburton.com Essential Job Functions : · Following dummy book instructions, completes page layout design of company catalogs and literature. · Incorporates understanding of font use, color theory, and color coordination in page layout. · Conceptualizes and communicates precise descriptions of product in company literature. · Performs product image editing. · Multi-tasks well under tight production deadlines. Specific skills: · Extensive working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically advanced skills in InDesign for page layout, and Photoshop skills for image editing. Apple desktop platform. · Acute attention to detail and good understanding of font use, color theory, and catalog page composition. · Printing layout knowledge, production understanding, and strong organizational and communication skills. Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree required in related field Preferred Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Must provide online portfolio of InDesign projects with resume.
