Job Description
PBR INC d/b/a SKAPS Industries is seeking 60 Machine Operators for temporary full-time employment from 12/15/2024 to 10/14/2025 to work at its Athens, GA manufacturing facility.
Duties include: Set up, and operate machines to cut non-woven and woven textiles.  Start machines, make adjustments and adjust controls as necessary.  40 hrs/week.  Shifts 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM Monday through Sunday.  Employer will offer $18.30/hr and $27.45/hr OT.  Overtime is available.  Pay is bi-weekly. employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, & equipment required to perform job. On the job training provided.
All deductions from worker's paycheck required by law will be made.  Single workweek will be used to compute wages. Inbound transportation (including meals &, as necessary, lodging) to place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed. If worker completes 50% of work contract period, employer will reimburse worker for transportation and subsistence from place of recruitment to place of work. Upon completion of work contract or where worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay of worker's reasonable costs of return transportation & subsistence back home or to place worker originally departed to work, except where worker will not return due to subsequent employment w/ another employer or where employer has appropriately reported the worker's voluntary abandonment. amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to most economical & reasonable carrier for distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day w/ receipts. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, & other related fees, including those mandated by government (excluding passport fees). Employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of workdays in each 12-week period of total employment period.
