General Description of Position: The Client Care Associate provides the first impression of the hospital to clients and patients. This person must be friendly, professional and courteous, and capable of handling many tasks at once with many interruptions. Hope Animal Medical Center is a fast paced clinic and we are looking for a Client Care Associate to join our team. We are a high quality multi-doctor, full-service hospital. This is a Full- Time position, shift hours are typically 9:15am-6:15pm. This team member is responsible for managing multiple phone lines, booking appointments, greeting clients, processing payments, and ensuring that the reception area of the hospital is clean and presentable at all times.Candidates must have excellent skills in the following areas: Client service, sales, communication, and multi-tasking. We are looking for someone with a great attitude, an outgoing personality, with a desire for long term employment. Most importantly, applicants must enjoy working as part of a team in a high energy, fast-paced environment. Must have great, positive attitude !!! We are a busy small animal exclusive clinic. KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, & ABILITIES: High School/General Education Degree is required, associate degree a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication. Must accurately relay owner’s account of the medical concern for the animals(s) involved to the healthcare team members who will be involved in the treating patient. Excellent people skills, friendly, outgoing, and willingness to contribute to a team. Proficient computer skills (beginner to intermediate in Word, Excel, & Outlook). Able to operate multi-line telephone, copier, printer, and fax. One year job experience working at a veterinary practice preferred, but not required. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Compassion for owners and animals.
