PAID- On-Site CDL training The School Bus Driver safely transports students to and from school related activities such as, field trips and extracurricular events, enforcing safety rules, performing pre-trip inspections, and maintaining the bus. Responsibilities also include reporting incidents and accidents, attending meetings/training, and adhering to safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: Safely transport students and authorized passengers, perform pre-trip inspections, and maintain the bus. Enforce safety rules during rides and report any incidents to the Site Manager. Adhere to traffic laws, navigate carefully, and ensure student safety. Perform post-trip bus checks and report maintenance needs. Attend meetings/training for job-related updates. Requirements: Possession of a valid Minnesota Commercial Driver’s License with necessary endorsements or ability to obtain a CDL Class B within 90 days of hire. Knowledge of safety procedures and emergency evacuation techniques. Ability to follow safety practices, maintain records, and operate specialized equipment. Reliability, independence, patience, and strong communication skills, especially with diverse groups. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Physical Requirements: Predominantly involves 90% sitting, 5% walking, and 5% standing.
