Party Paper Place in Owensboro, KY is looking for one sales associate to join our team. We are located on 320 Washington Ave next door to Old Hickory BBQ. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, customer focused and exceedingly polite. This is a part-time job opportunity in a fun environment. Hours anticipated will fluctuate. We currently need someone to work in the morning 10-2 or in the afternoon from 1:30-5. and some Saturdays from 9 am to 4 pm. . Mature workers are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities *Welcomes customers by greeting them and offering them assistance. *Directs customers by escorting them to our products. *Advises customers by providing information on products. *Creates Invitations *Wrap our customer's gifts to perfection *Processes payments by totaling purchases; processing checks, cash, and store or other credit cards. *Use judgment to solve customer problems *Creatively assist with carrying out party decor themes *Maintains scheduling commitments Qualifications *Friendly and outgoing personality *Excellent verbal skills using correct grammar *Computer Skills using Word Software *Able to problem solve as issues arise *High School Diploma required We will teach you balloon design and how to hot stamp napkins.
