We are hiring an Animal Care Technician! Responsibilities: Animal Care and Health Monitoring: Daily Care: You will be responsible for the regular care of animals, which includes feeding, cleaning, and monitoring their overall health. Health Monitoring: Regularly check the animals for any signs of illness or distress and address any issues promptly. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Documentation: Follow SOPs: Adhere to established protocols for animal care and laboratory practices to ensure consistency and safety. Good Documentation Practices: Maintain accurate records of all activities, including animal health, procedures performed, and any anomalies. Maintenance of Production Areas: Organization and Cleaning: Keep production rooms, equipment, and supplies in good order, ensuring a clean and organized environment. Supplies and Equipment: Manage and maintain the necessary supplies and equipment for egg layers, ensuring they are in working condition and available as needed. Facility Support: Shift Work: Be prepared to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, to support the production facility's needs. Key Skills and Requirements Attention to Detail: Precision in following SOPs and maintaining documentation. Animal Handling Experience: Familiarity with caring for and monitoring animals. Flexibility: Willingness to work different shifts and adapt to varying schedules. Organizational Skills: Ability to keep production areas and equipment well-maintained.
