As a IID Technician at Loud Tendencies, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the installation, maintenance, and repair of Ignition Interlock Devices that operate on 12-volt systems, within the State of Arizona. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks related to Ignition Interlock Devices and automotive electrical systems. We are looking for a skilled and knowledgeable technician who can work independently, diagnose complex issues, and provide exceptional service to our customers. This position is vehicle based, with the technician dispatching to the client's home/work address within the East Valley (Chandler, Tempe, Scottsdale, Mesa, Gilbert, Phoenix), in which a personal vehicle is required. Compensation for vehicle usage will be discussed within the compensation package. Key Responsibilities: Installation and Wiring: Installation of ADOT approved, Ignition Interlock devices Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and electronic problems in vehicles pre/post IID installation. Maintenance/Calibrations: Perform routine maintenance and calibrations on Interlock devices to confirm the are operating within thier optimal standards. This includes battery checks, system testing, and preventive maintenance. Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest 12-volt technology and products. Provide guidance and recommendations to customers based on their specific needs. Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Explain technical issues and repair options clearly, providing accurate cost estimates and timelines. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance work. Complete service reports and documentation as required. Safety: Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while working with electrical systems. Ensure that all work is conducted safely to prevent accidents and injuries. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all installations and repairs meet the highest quality standards. Conduct quality checks to verify the functionality and safety of systems. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Certification or training in automotive or electrical systems is preferred. Proven experience as a 12-volt technician or a related field, but willing to train Strong electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
