Elementary School Athletic Director Part time
Owensboro Catholic Schools is seeking a Part Time Elementary Athletic Director. The successful candidate must be faith-filled, dynamic, compassionate, energetic, and willing to work collaboratively in a positive team environment.
Position Summary:
The Elementary Athletic Director manages and coordinates all athletic programs for the Owensboro Catholic Elementary Schools.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Plan and coordinate use of gyms for athletic events and activities, including practices, games, and tournaments
• Coordinate athletic programs including registration, payments and ordering uniform shirts
• Verify all volunteer coaches have current background checks and safe environment training in accordance with the Diocese of Owensboro
• Communicate regularly with school administration, teachers, parents, and community members about the athletic program
• Order drinks for concession stands
• Manage the budget for the athletic program
Requirements:
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage and supervise volunteer coaches and staff
• Ability to work collaboratively with school administration, teachers, parents, and community members
• The successful candidate must pass a criminal background check and complete safe environment training for the Diocese of Owensboro before employment can be granted.
