The role of the Regional Director is to examine, analyze, and evaluate the operations of assigned hotels to ensure adherence to company and franchise standards and policies while assisting to maximize the overall success of each property. The ideal candidate is outgoing, detail-oriented, and performance driven. This individual exemplifies Leadership to the Team.
Our candidate will be a self starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to get the job done. If you are an experienced hotel professional with at least 5 years of multi-unit hotel management experience with Marriott and Hilton hotels, then this is the opportunity for you.
The Regional Director of Operations will have full financial responsibility for a group of hotels. Candidate should have experience working with major brands and elevating financial performance.
Regional Director of Operations Responsibilities
• Act as the direct liaison between Hotels and Ascent corporate office.
• Provide guidance to Managers, including, but not limited to hotel operations, reservation delivery, GSS scores, quality assurance scores, sales and marketing techniques, revenue management, etc., and implement Action Plans to achieve a solid return on investment (ROI).
• The Regional Director of Operations is responsible for hiring, developing, and managing a team of general managers that will serve as the primary contacts at the hotels.
• Is the subject matter expert on all brand standards from Marketing Dept, corporate programs, and technology platforms utilized.
• Effectively manage escalated Hotel expectations related to reservation contribution, service delivery, etc as needed.
• The Regional Director of Operations must be able to perform with minimal supervision, be creative, and think outside of the box in the interest of ensuring the success of the brand.
• Track and record Hotel correspondences.
PLEASE NOTE:
• Brand experience with Marriott and Hilton is essential
• 3 - 5 years of previous experience as a Regional Director of Operations Marriott or Hilton Hotels is required
