The pay range is $89,700.00 - $161,500.00

A role in Construction means leading the execution of the new store, remodel and merchant innovation projects. From large program rollouts to unique special projects, new small-format stores and large-format ground-up construction, you’ll help manage the scope, schedule and budget for all Target construction projects, including adhering to the project timelines, coordinating and overseeing the onsite construction process. You’ll keep all of the players and partners aligned with effective communication between store teams, vendors, general contractors, field leadership and project teams.
As a Senior Project Manager , you’ll take the lead as you develop and manage scopes, budgets, and schedules; as well as direct, supervise, and control the construction, fixture installation, and architecture and engineering design milestones for assigned projects or programs to meet established goals and objectives. Using your skills and experience, you will assist with all aspects of the process. By reviewing and analyzing contractor bids, you will make recommendations and approve subcontractor bids, conduct contract negotiations, review and approve changes to the contract and applications for payments, and close out all necessary contracts. You’ll conduct cross-functional meetings throughout the lifecycle of a project to monitor the activities and budgets of other departments that affect the project as well as ensuring that project milestones are being met. You will be responsible for project completion within approved budget which includes obtaining, reviewing, and maintaining the budget input from other documents. You will maintain an accurate budget forecast throughout the project lifecycle. In this role, your key focus will be in ensuring successful project execution while maintaining Target’s quality standards. About you:
• Four-year degree or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience in construction project management
• Advanced knowledge of construction processes, industry standards and best practices
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications
• Degree in Engineering or Architecture preferred
• Team player who understands how to work effectively with both internal and external partners.
• Organizational and project management skills
This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location . A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that’s not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.
