Maintenance Tech
Our client is a boutique midrise residential apartment community located in downtown Athens. They specialize in providing exceptional customer service and swift attention to their residents' maintenance needs, and are seeking a Maintenance Technician who will be invested in the property and its ongoing success.
Previous maintenance experience is required for this position. EPA and CPO Certification are preferred.
Work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (with a one-hour lunch break). Pay Rate range is $21-23/hour based on experience and certification level.

Responsibilities
• Completion of resident work orders in a timely manner.
• Beginning each day by inspecting property for trash, debris, or common area maintenance needs and resolving as needed.
• Removing trash from trash rooms daily and moving trash cans to outside of building for pick-up.
• Reporting on status of work orders and clearing work orders from the work order tracking system.
• Performing the punch and turnkey of apartments as they become vacant, to include changing locks and making new keys.
• Communicating daily with the Property Manager on the status of ongoing community projects and resident work orders.
• Sharing in on-call responsibilities.
• Performing appliance repairs and replacements as needed (ongoing training is provided and encouraged).
• Help keep all electrical and mechanical systems on the property in good working order.
• Keep pools at proper chemical levels and monitor daily. Existing CPO Certification is helpful but can be provided.
• Move and set up furniture as required for furnished units (occasional).
• Be available to work occasional overtime if needed.
• Order parts and supplies as needed for the property and keep a log of all purchases.
