Clinical Staff Aide
• Room patients while maintaining clean and stocked exam rooms.
• Verify patient information, review and update medical history, and take vital signs based on appointment types.
• Support immunizations and medications per Provider orders (does not administer).
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following company policies, enforcing standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
• Ensure patient information confidentiality by complying with organizational and HIPAA policies and regulations.
• Assist with various telephone duties, such as informing patients of test results and relaying information and messages, to ensure clear and concise communication between the clinic and patients.
• Travel to alternate satellite clinics as needed to cover clinic and patient needs.
• Be available for evening and weekend hours to accommodate patient needs.
Qualifications:
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on tracking patient care and improving patient flow.
• Professional demeanor with an understanding and recognition of privacy considerations for patients and families.
• Detail-oriented and thorough in all tasks.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately.
• Strong computer skills and experience in EMR systems are preferred.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Requirements:
• Highschool diploma or GED.
• At least one (1) year of customer service.
• History of working with children of all ages.
• Lab and Phlebotomy experience with the pediatric population is preferred.
• Clinical background preferred.
• X-Ray license or certification - not required.
Schedule:
• Typically, four days a week, with one evening shift (until 7:00 pm).
• Every other weekend, 8:30 am - 12:00 pm, Saturday (Minnetonka) or Sunday (Chaska).
• The first 90 days of training are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
