Bolton & Menk is looking to add a IT Support Technician to our team. We are looking to add a IT Support Technician who will help foster our mission that All People Should Live in Safe, Sustainable and Beautiful Community! What you will be doing: Work with end users to identify and deliver required service levels. Construct, install, configure, test and maintain customized configurations based on various platforms and operating systems. Collaborate with support technicians and specialists to ensure efficient operation of the company’s computing environment. Monitor and maintain on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex problems for a variety of end users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions, including off-site repair as needed. Assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future systems needs. Support implementation of new projects and new installations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hardware, software and equipment contracts and supervise contract-based installations. If necessary, liaise with third-party support and vendors. Aid in development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans, maintain current knowledge of plan executables, and respond to crises in accordance with business continuity and disaster recovery plans. Other duties as assigned. What we are looking for: Associate's degree and 1+ years of experience in a related computer field or 3+ years of relevant work experience Excellent technical knowledge of network, software systems and PC hardware and software. Hands-on hardware/software troubleshooting experience. Extensive equipment support experience. Working technical knowledge of current network protocols, operating systems, and standards. Ability to fill multiple roles simultaneously. Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides. Excellent technical understanding and data processing skills. . Excellent time management, organizational and problem solving skills. Excellent attention to detail. Effective Administrative skills. Effective Prioritization and Conflict Resolution skills.
