Shift: This role is 2nd Shift, 6:00 PM-6:00 AMHourly Rate: $20.50 an hour + $1.50 shift differentialThe Sanitation Technician performs sanitation tasks to clean and sanitize all production equipment and processing areas. You will work safely using processes that meet food and safety requirements and sanitation goals and standards. You will report to the Quality Manager. You will work onsite at the North Mankato Plant.JOB Responsibilities (INCLUDING):Perform job with utmost Caution and Safety. Participate in plant wide continuous improvement programsFollow all plant safety policies, along with all SQF requirementsHelp increase efficiency in the departmentTest new sanitation methods and chemicals as instructed by QA ManagerAssist Sanitation lead in communicating directivesOversee any maintenance requests and transfers back to productionPerform Pre-Operational sanitation requirementsUnderstand and fill out the Pre-Shift ChecklistHelp with the production line full cleans.Daily cleaning of break room/bathroom/GMP room/offices/conference roomDisassemble, clean and assemble production equipmentRun, fill, clean and perform minor maintenance on the walk-behind floor scrubberAssess possible trainings and self-development needs and optionsControls work flow in washroomPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential responsibilities of this job.
