Description
The Director of Sales and Marketing reports to the President and plays a vital role on the leadership team. The Director is responsible for driving the strategic direction and overseeing the daily operations of the sales, marketing, and estimating departments. This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve business objectives, increase market share, and drive profitable revenue growth.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
• Develop, direct, and coordinate all strategic marketing and sales activities.
• Engage as both a sales leader and individual contributor to key account management and strategic new business development.
• Analyze and communicate sales and marketing strategy performance.
• Oversee the social media presence of the organization.
• Maintain an up-to-date pipeline of opportunities in CRM, and manage its effective use from all team members.
• Achieve annual sales targets and new business goals.
• Recommend market pricing for sales quotes and bid package opportunities, based on company profit goals and/or analyze market trends and competition to develop pricing strategies.
• Lead all marketing efforts, including working with any outsourced marketing firms as part of an overall market strategy.
• Prepare forecasts and sales and marketing budgets.
• Lead and manage the RFP/RFQ department.
• Analyze actual performance vs. estimate to build consistent standards.
• Measure customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for staffing, training, evaluating all sales, marketing, and estimating staff using our EOS processes.
• Coordinate with other departments as the voice for the customer working to deliver what we sell: perfect parts, on-time.
• Develop and deliver sales presentations in a professional and effective manner.
• Lead with authenticity and intention.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• 5-7 Years of successful leadership experience in sales and marketing
• Experience with marketing on all platforms
• Experience managing a professional social media account
• Experience leading and coaching a team of direct reports
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed
• Experience in contract manufacturing ideal but not required.
• Full understanding of online marketing, traditional marketing, and social media development strategies.
• Education – bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field (MBA preferred).
