Systems Administrator Manager

In this role, you'll manage identity and access processes, coordinate incident response, and ensure compliance with security policies and regulations. Your mission? Whether it's managing storage solutions, ensuring data integrity, or providing top-notch support for our team, you'll play a vital role in keeping our systems performing at their best.

Requirements
Security and Compliance:
• Facilitate identity and access management processes
• Coordinate incident response and vulnerability assessments
• Ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, and industry regulations
Server
• Administer and optimize physical and virtual server environments, including container platforms
• Ensure system performance, high availability, and disaster recovery readiness
Network
• Administer and troubleshoot voice and data networks
• Manage internet and network connectivity, domain services, and virtual private networks, etc.
Storage
• Oversee file and object storage solutions, including backup and archive systems
• Ensure data integrity, security, and adherence to retention policies
Support
• Provide level 2 support for escalated hardware, software, and network issues
• Manage and support client devices (desktops, laptops, mobile)
• Support communication and collaboration tools
• Manage third party platforms and applications
General Responsibilities
• Maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation
• Conduct research and provide recommendations
• Coordinate external resources including vendors, consultants, and other agencies
Leadership
• General management of technical staff
• Participate in and lead meetings
• Conduct employee one on ones
• Monitor employee goal progress
• Career path planning
• Technical coaching
• Conduct performance evaluations
Experience
• 10+ years of professional experience in a systems administrator or related role
• Demonstrated communication skills
• Proven experience owning and leading projects and initiatives
• Proven experience leading and mentoring a technical team
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelors or Associates degree in information systems or related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA, MCSA, CompTIA, CISSP)
• Experience with Azure cloud hosted solutions
