SUMMARY Manage Production Floor and employees on assigned shifts in the New Ulm Plant. This is achieved by ensuring the product is ran, tables are assigned and filled to capacity to meet customers due dates. Ensuring productivity of shift is achieved. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned): Responsible to oversee hourly employees and their efficient production to ensure parts are getting to customers to meet due dates. Inform management when additional staffing is required for shift. Lead shift to meet safety, quality and production goals. Works closely with new hires in the training process to assure training is completed and documented accordingly. Ensures all employees are working to the set expectation of the position assigned and works with management staff to coach those that are not meeting goals. Monitor daily production levels, post against production schedule and approve activities and time and attendance in Kronos. Preparing all labels, routings and work orders for hourly employees. Responsible for creating schedule for extrusion lines and splice tables. Evaluate employees at 30 days, 60 days and perform pay performance reviews monthly for all employees not at top pay. Perform all other such duties and special assignments as requested by Management staff.
