Responsibilities Assemble various elevator parts according to prints and work order instructions. Move completed load bars to the paint system Load parts onto paint load bars Prep metal elevator parts before priming and painting. Paint metal elevator parts with finishing coat of paint Demonstrate respect and regard for customers and coworkers to ensure a professional, responsive and courteous environment at Minnesota Elevator, Inc. Participate as a team member by performing additional assignments to meet organizational goals as noted and observed by supervisor and coworkers. Actively participate in the MEI I-power Program by attending weekly meetings and submit ideas to innovate and optimize MEI products and service. Participate in self-development activities to enhance job performance either through formal means (classes, workshops, seminars, in services, etc.) or less structured means (reading, networking, etc.) Follow company guidelines regarding punctuality and attendance to ensure a smooth working environment for department. The employee must frequently lift up to 50 pounds; the employee is required to request assistance when lifting anything exceeding 50 pounds. The employee is frequently pushing and pulling and occasionally up to 70 pounds.
