Directs and coordinates activities concerned with field service personnel who perform routine services including installation, maintenance and repairs based on customer needs.Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot the repair of equipment failureResolve issues with customer’s orders, customer accounts, and other related issuesCoordinate activities of personnel troubleshooting and repairIdentify parts, components and maintain up to date technical knowledge of company productsPerform administrative activities associated with the effective management of department operations, including monitoring phones, compiling estimates, and retrieving production data and reporting for service recordsWork closely with operations and engineering personnel on technical matters and coordinate instructions and recommendationsWork from complex engineering drawings and specifications, detailed written and verbal instructions, and handbooksRecognize and identify warranty situations which may result in special circumstances for the resolution of warranty claims/issuesAssist in the creation of long-term service agreements, swing-unit programs and various aftermarket projects as directed to support aftermarket objectivesProvide direct field support for commercial and warranty jobs as neededExperience/Skills:5+ years related experience and/or trainingMS-Office and Oracle experience requiredAbility to lead personnelProject managementHigh mechanical technical aptitudeElectrical aptitude desiredEffective verbal and written communicationsAbility to travel domestically and abroad when necessary.US Citizenship required for positions at the North Mankato facility.Education:Associate degree (A.A.) or related experienceAdditional Job DetailsCHECK US OUT ON YOUTUBE: http://acim.nidec.com/generators/kato-engineering/about-us/katocareersEqual Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action at NidecNidec is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action Employer encouraging diversity in the workplace.
