New Hire Salary Range: $22.25 - $25.66 per hour
Salary Range: $22.25 - $31.15 per hour

This is the second level in a six-level Program Administration classification series devoted to providing skilled program support to a specific operational function or program. Incumbents make decisions, within established policies and procedures.

• Transports prisoners and maintains their safety and security.
• Performs traffic control.
• Responds to calls for assistance not requiring sworn law enforcement personnel.
• Prepares reports.
• Follows standard operating procedures to process complex and detailed transactions in support of a program.
• Performs quality assurance reviews on records and transactions; resolves issues and makes corrections.
• Makes business math computations and verifies accuracy of computations made by others, as assigned.
• Enters data.
• Prepares routine reports.
• Processes legal and confidential documents.
• Performs related work as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED and 1 year of related experience; or an equivalent combination of directly related education and experience.
Certifications/Licenses:
• Arizona Class D Driver’s License.
• Terminal Operator Certificate, Level B within timeframe established by Police Chief.
Safety Sensitive Assignments:
• Police Assistant.
CONTINUING EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
• Maintain all certifications/licenses required at job entry and within specified timeframe.

Type of Work:
Heavy: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects including the human body.
