This role will develop and manage a comprehensive recognition program that acknowledges the contributions of all associates in alignment with organizational strategy. A typical day might include following Recognition Program Development and Leadership: Develop and manage a comprehensive associate recognition program that acknowledges the contributions and achievements of associates at all levels of the organization. Implement a variety of recognition tools and platforms (e.g., digital platforms, associate of the month awards, peer recognition programs) that are accessible and engaging for all associates. Coordinates and recognizes associates at the quarterly service award luncheons and creates certificates of recognition. Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of recognition programs and initiatives, adjusting as needed to ensure alignment with company goals and associate needs. Event Planning and Coordination Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of company events and activities that promote team building, associate engagement, and company culture. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure events are inclusive and representative of the diverse backgrounds of our associates. Manage event logistics, including budget, venue selection, vendor leadership, catering, audio/visual requirements, and day-of-event coordination. Organizes, coordinates, and maintains project plans, timelines, budget, communication, and other aspects of event coordination including vendor payments, setup, clean up, etc. Create and manage event communication plans, including invitations, reminders, and post-event follow-up. Associate Engagement and Feedback Develop and administer associate engagement surveys and feedback mechanisms to assess the effectiveness of recognition and event programs. Analyze survey results and other data to identify areas of improvement and develop action plans to address gaps in engagement and recognition. Researches and implements new and innovative ways to engage & recognize associates across the state. Work with HR and leadership to ensure that feedback is used to drive continuous improvement in company culture and associate satisfaction. DEIB Initiatives and Cultural Celebrations Lead and coordinate the DEIB Culture Champions team to develop and implement programs and events that celebrate the diverse cultures and backgrounds of our associates. Organize and promote cultural awareness events, heritage month celebrations, and other activities that foster an inclusive workplace environment. Coordinates activities and initiatives for Culture Champions Group. Partner with the HR and communications teams to create educational resources and materials that support DEIB initiatives. Monitor and report on the impact of DEIB initiatives on associate engagement and company culture. Communication and Collaboration Serve as a liaison between associates, leadership, and external partners to ensure effective communication and coordination of recognition and event initiatives. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR, communications, marketing, and facilities, to align recognition and event programs with company goals and objectives. Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on the status and impact of recognition and event programs. Maintains effective working relationships with all levels of the organization. Education High School Diploma Required Bachelor's Degree Preferred Experience 3 to 5 years of similar or related experience in Human Resources, Marketing or Event Planning preferred.
